Day# 1 Delhi
Depart from Delhi to Cochin, the fastest growing maritime gateway to peninsular India.
Day# 2 Arrive Cochin
Upon arrival in Cochin, the hotel representatives will guide you to hotel and will make the necessary travel arrangements. After getting refreshed you can enjoy a sunset cruise on the backwaters to see the Chinese fishing nets, which are distinctly unique to Cochin.
Day# 3 Cochin
On the third day of the tour, you will visit the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue in Mattancherry and St Francis' Church in Fort Cochin. The Dutch palace was originally built by the Portuguese and has a fine collection of wall paintings depicting scenes from the Hindu epics Mahabharata and Ramayana. The Jewish Synagogue is marvelously decorated by Chinese tiles and Belgian chandeliers. St Francis' Church is the oldest church built by Europeans in India. In the evening you can enjoy a Kathakali performance, a traditional art form of Kerala.
Day# 4 Munnar
You can get a break from the hustle bustle of the city and enjoy the idyllic tourist destination in God’s own country by visiting Munnar. Munnar is one of the most popular hill stations in India. It is famous for its sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities.
Day# 5 Periyar
On the fourth day, we will visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary which is situated on the banks of the Periyar Lake. You can have the unique experience of screening wildlife at close quarters. You can watch herds of wild elephants that come down to play in the lake, which is the most marvelous sight here.
Day# 6 Kumarakom
After a four-hour travel we will reach Kumarakom, popularly known as a delicate jewel box. Traveling through Kumarakom in a kettuvallam or ‘boat with knots’ gives you a view of the peaceful village life. You can see find men and women fishing, farm animals grazing, and ducks paddling in the water. The charming destination of Kumarakom offers opportunities for sightseeing, boating and fishing.
Day# 7 Kovalam
Moving to the end on the seventh day, we will visit Kovalam. It is a beach town on the Arabian Sea. Kovalam beach is known as the “Paradise of the South.†The favorable climate and sapphire water make it a favorite spot for swimming. Kovalam is a popular asylum for tourists for its Ayurvedic massage parlors, yoga centers and water sport facilities.
Day# 8 Padmanabhapuram
Padmanabhapuram palace is a magnificent wooden palace. This palace is a Kerala architectural masterpiece with wonderful mural paintings, wooden carvings and statuette.
Day# 9 Delhi
The guests are taken to the airport and sent back to Delhi.
