A trip to Eastern India includes the spectacular mountain scenes of Kanchenjunga and Mount Everest, hill stations such as Darjeeling, exotic orchids, monasteries and churches of Kalimpong, stately homes, sprawling tea plantations, a wide variety of bird and wildlife, temples and the Tibetan monasteries in Gangtok. Shopping in the city of Kolkata makes the trip a fantastic one. 

 
Day# 1 Delhi
The guests are taken to Kolkata from Delhi by flight.
Day# 2 Kolkata
On second day morning the guests would reach Kolkata. They are transferred to the hotel for the night. The afternoon can be spent on shopping.
Day# 3 Bagdogra To Darjeeling
The guests are taken to Bagdogra by flight. Hotel rooms are arranged to spend the following three nights in Darjeeling. Darjeeling, a favorite hill station of the British, is surrounded by tea gardens. From Darjeeling, the snowy peaks of Kanchenjunga, the third tallest mountain in the world can be viewed.
Day# 4 Darjeeling
Early in the morning of the fourth day the guests can travel to the Tiger Hill. If the weather is favorable, you would be able to watch the spectacular sunrise spreading its rays over Mount Everest and Kanchenjunga. Returning from Tiger Hill the guests are taken to the Ghoom Monastery and later on to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute.
Day# 5 Darjeeling (Toy Train)
The fifth day can be utilized for riding on a toy train to Ghoom or Kurseong.
Day# 6 Pelling
The journey heads to Pelling. The guests are taken to the remote hamlet of Pelling. The Pemayangtse Monastery is visited in the afternoon. Accommodation is arranged at Pelling for the night.
Day# 7 Arrive Gangtok
A drive would take the guests to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Hotel rooms are arranged to spend the following two nights there.
Day# 8 Gangtok
The morning of the eighth day is spent on visiting the Rumtek Monastery, famous for its carved and painted woodwork and later the Enchey Monastery and the Namgyalak Institute of Tibetology.
Day# 9 Kalimpong
The guests are taken to Kalimpong. The full day is occupied in visiting churches, monasteries, orchid nurseries and so on.
Day# 10 Arrive Kolkata
The guests are transferred to the Bagdogra airport. By a short flight they are brought to Kolkata. Hotel rooms are arranged for spending the following two nights. In the afternoon the guests are taken for sightseeing the city of Kolkata. It includes the Indian Museum, the Victoria Memorial and St Paul’s Cathedral.
Day# 11 Kolkata
In the early morning of the eleventh day, the guests are taken to the flower market situated on the riverbanks in Howrah. The whole day can be spent by shopping at the famous New Market. The market is only at a short distance from the hotel where the guests stay.
Day# 12 Kolkata To Delhi
The day is spent at leisure. The guests are transferred to the airport late in the afternoon. From there they can return to Delhi.
Day# 13 Delhi
The guests can return to their hometown. Interested ones can extend their tour program to the beaches of Andamans, the Majuli Island in Assam or the mangroves of Sunderbans. The tour can also be extended to Dhaka, Yangon, Kathmandu, or Bangkok. There are convenient flights from Kolkata to these places.
